Wendy Kile

Kitsap Regional Library has always been an important part of Wendy’s life. A lifelong Kitsap resident, Wendy grew up visiting the Sylvan Way branch almost weekly where she and her father spent hours in the library reading. Books became her refuge and provided her with a means to explore the world. This is where she developed her deep love for reading and learning.

Wendy’s career in fundraising began more than 15 years ago, where after joining the local hospital foundation she advanced from administrative assistant to executive director.

Wendy joined Kitsap Regional Library Foundation in 2018 and is proud to be serving her community as the Executive Director. “The passion of our staff and their commitment to our community inspire me every single day. At the library, I am always learning something new and am grateful for the opportunity to serve and support my community in this way.”

Wendy lives in Bremerton with her husband, three children, four dogs and cat. When not at work, she enjoys cooking with her son, reading, camping with friends and visiting out of state family with her husband.
