Ginger Vaughan

Quinn Brein Communications, Vice-President

Growing up around Kitsap County, Ginger's formative years included a steady diet of books and newspapers with weekends spent scouring the stacks at her local Kitsap Regional Library. This early interest in the written word and current events led to a career in journalism and, eventually, in public relations. Her current position is as Vice-President of Quinn Brein Communications, where she has worked with various clients, including those in the publishing, government and nonprofit sectors.

Committed to the power of community involvement for lasting change, Ginger's involvement with local nonprofits over the years includes several board appointments. She is currently the President of Rainbow Crew Northwest, a nonprofit dedicated to connecting LGBTQ+ and intersectional communities with affirming resources and support. She co-founded the group in 2020 with four friends over Zoom.

Ginger lives in Indianola with two bulldogs who are kind enough to let her reside in their house. A big believer in the power of play, she cultivates curiosity in the world and everything in it. To this end, Kitsap Regional Library continues to play a prominent role in her life...and when the weather is just right, you can catch her on her deck enjoying her latest read. Favorite writers include Neil Gaiman, Tasymn Muir, Roxane Gay, Lindy West, Colson Whitehead and Margaret Atwood.
