Learning in the Library Spotlight

The Silverdale branch was transformed into a festive dragon den last Thursday as it celebrated the Lunar New Year and the Year of the Dragon! Kids were thrilled to hear epic tales and participate in exciting arts and crafts activities, like designing their own dragon masks. Their roars and laughter echoed throughout the Library, inviting everyone to join in the fun!

Gifts to the Foundation help support programming for kids in our branches, creating new opportunities for reading, learning, and play for families every week across Kitsap County. Programs like these allow us all to connect, laugh, explore and learn together, no matter what your age.

We "Totes" Love the Library

We’ve learned from experience that it’s much nicer to have a book tote than it is to try and carry ten books out of the Library stacked up to your chin! Discover your new favorite book bag in our collection of Library bags and totes. Every purchase you make supports the Library!

Giving Beyond a Lifetime

As we navigate the ups and downs of life, it's easy to get caught up in the day-to-day. However, taking the time to explore your long-term goals and intentions can be invaluable. By creating a clear and actionable estate plan, you can ensure that your loved ones, including your furry friends, are protected, assets are allocated as you wish, and your final wishes are honored. Moreover, you can create a lasting legacy of philanthropy by choosing to make a positive impact on the community organizations you support.

We invite you to take advantage of our partner FreeWill - a free estate-planning tool that can help you secure your legacy in as little as 20 minutes.

Please note that Kitsap Regional Library and Kitsap Regional Library Foundation do not dispense legal, investment or tax advice and advise that you consult with your attorney and other advisors to ensure that your will meets your individual needs.

Thank you for another awesome event!

We are thrilled to share that we recently hosted Coffee with the Director in Port Orchard, where we enjoyed conversing with Library Director Jason Driver. Together, we discussed the bright future of Kitsap Regional Library, including the plan for a new Library in Port Orchard!

Grantor Spotlight

We want to thank Poulsbo North Kitsap Rotary for their love and support of early learning at the Library.

Local philanthropy and partnerships like this support the Library in providing hands-on learning opportunities for youth in Kitsap County. Gifts to the Foundation help build a thriving community and inspire the future of the Library.
